Grease traps

The purpose of grease traps and grease interceptors is to allow separation of solids and grease, to contain them in an on-site holding facility, and to prevent these troublesome wastes from entering the main sewer system or septic/drain field. Grease traps and grease interceptors are typically associated with food preparation facilities like restaurants, grocery stores or cafeterias.
